Working into a hair tie can be difficult at first but you will get used to it. If you are having trouble joining into the hair tie, below are the steps for joining.
Joining Double Crochet Into a Hair Tie
To start off, make a slip knot on your hook. Yarn over, insert your hook into the hair tie, grab a loop and pull it through. Yarn over, pull through two loops on your hook, yarn over, pull through the last two loops. Then continue double crocheting into the hair tie the same way.
It's as easy as that! I'd love to see your finished products in the comments!
If you're not a big fan of crocheting but you still want these scrunchies, you can buy them on my Etsy shop.
