You may be a beginner crocheter and are wondering the best tools for crocheting with, or you may be an intermediate or advanced crocheter, and you want to upgrade your tools. Either way, this post is for you.
Hooks
comfortable and grippy. I crochet a lot, making these hooks my favorite, because the more you crochet, the more comfortable you will want your hooks to be. If you're looking for a more simple, metal crochet hook or pack of crochet hooks, any brand will do because they are all very similar.
Yarn
If you're looking for a lot of soft, worsted weight yarn, I like Caron One Pound. This 1 lb skein of yarn is perfect for making blankets or clothing. If you want a coarser worsted weight yarn, I personally like Lily Sugar 'n Cream yarn. I also like Red Heart for a variety of things. (The sizes of the yarns are not relatively correct)
Crochet Books
Two of my favorite amigurumi books are Whimsical Stitches and AmiguruMe Eats. I like their large variety of small items or animals that are fairly easy to crochet. But I'm not the best person to ask about other pattern books because I like to make my own patterns.
Other Materials
